Nike’s The Chance is a worldwide search for soccer’s most promising young talent. Hundreds of thousands of players entered, hoping to be selected to attend The Chance finals and have a shot at competing for one of a handful of highly coveted spots on the Nike Academy team.

During the 2013 Chance finals, held in England, Nike Soccer tasked us with telling the story of one American hopeful. We followed him from his home in California to the home of the Nike Academy in England, through three days of grueling competition and, finally, to the podium where he was named a Chance winner and awarded a spot on the Nike Academy team.
