Skullcandy, the country’s second largest headphone manufacturer, had never run a broadcast ad. Our brief: convey the soul of the brand to a mass audience on national TV. The company’s roots were in outsider sports, and their success sprang from a rebel attitude. We tapped into that spirit, alive and well in action sports and underground music, and raised a new brand flag: Every revolution needs a soundtrack. With that battle cry in place, we laid the groundwork for Skullcandy’s global domination.
